Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran ICARE dengan strategi diagram roundhouse. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design berbentuk pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Pungging Mojokerto dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dan sampel penelitian pada kelas VII-H dan VII-D. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket untuk mengetahuirespon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa pada pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat menarik dengan persentase 87%.

The purpose of this research were to know the implementation of learning and the student’s responses in sciense learning after using ICARE learning models with roundhouse diagram strategy. The research methode this study used quasi experimental design through the form of pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Pungging Mojokerto with a population all of the student in sevent grade even 2019/2020 school year and the sample is VII-H and VII-D. The teqnique for collecting data used observation method to know the implementation of learning and questionnaire to know the students’ responses. The results of this research showed that the students’ responses in learning indicates very interesting category, the percentage is 87%.
