Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal PAS gasal mata pelajaran IPA kelas VII dari aspek validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mix method research dengan model sequential explanatory. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 6 kelas dengan teknik non probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, tes sumatif, penelaah soal, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data secara kuantitatif menggunakan software TAP dan kualitatif menggunakan teknik panel. Hasil penelitian dari aspek validitas item terdapat 28 soal valid (70%), reliabilitas 0,739. Tingkat kesukaran soal sedang mendominasi terdapat 32 soal (80%). Daya pembeda cukup 17 soal (42,5%). Efektivitas pengecoh baik 35 soal (87.5%). Hasil penelitian dari analisis secara kuantitatif terdapat 25 soal diterima, 12 soal direvisi, dan 3 soal dibuang. Kualitas soal dari segi isi 36 soal (90%) baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa soal PAS gasal mata pelajaran IPA memiliki kualitas soal yang baik dari aspek kuantitatif maupun isi soal. AbstractionThis research aims to find out the quality of the end of semester assessment items 7th grade science subjects from the aspects of validity, reliability, difficulty, differentiation, and distractor. This research using a mix method design with a sequential explanatory model. The research sample used 6 classes with a nonprobability sampling technique. The data were collected by using observation, documentation, summative test, question reviewers, and interviews. Data analysis techniques using TAP software and qualitative using panel techniques. Research results from the aspect of item validity there are 34 valid questions (85%), reliability 0,739. The difficulty is dominated by the medium category there are 32 questions (80%). The differentiation with enough categories there are 17 questions (42,5%). The distractor good category there are 35 questions (87,5%). The result research from a quantitative analysis there 30 items received, 7 items were revised, and 3 items were discarded. The quality of the questions in term of content there are 36 questions (90%). Based on research result can be conclude about the odd semester final assessment science subjects has a good quality of questions from the quantitative aspect and the validity content.
