Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi dengan kepercayaan diri pada penerapan model ARCS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu korelasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 9 Gresik dengan populasi semua kelas VII Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan 1 kelas yaitu kelas VII F. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi pearson product-moment. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dengan kepercayaan diri pada penerapan model ARCS dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,713 > rtabel 0,3494, (2) persentase motivasi siswa sebesar 71,85% dengan kriteria motivasi tinggi, (3) persentase kepercayaan diri siswa sebesar 83,26% dengan kriteria kepercayaan diri tinggi, (4) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model ARCS memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 98,48% dengan kriteria sangat baik, (5) respon siswa pada penerapan model ARCS diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,99% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dengan demikian model ARCS dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa, jika motivasi siswa baik maka kepercayaan diri siswa juga baik. This research is purposeful to know about the relationship between motivation and self-confidence in the ARCS model application. The research kind that is used in this research is a correlation. This research is conduct in SMPN 9 Gresik with the population is all the classes of VII 2019/2020 School Year. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample of this research uses one class,- especially VII F class. The data accumulation uses observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses pearsons product-moment correlation. The findings and the data analysis show that: (1) there is a correlation between motivation and self-confidence in ARCS model application with the significance value 0,00 < 0,05 and rcount value 0,713 > rtable 0,3494, (2) the percentage of student motivation is 71,85% that is high motivation criteria, (3) the percentage of student self-confidence is 83,26% that is high self-confidence criteria, (4) the learning outcome uses ARCS model get the average value 98,48% with the very good criteria, (5) the student response in ARCS model application is obtainted the average value 88,99% with the very good standars criteria. Therefore the ARCS model can be used to increase motivation and student self-confidence, if motivation of student is good, self-confidence of student is good.
