Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal berdasarkan aspek efektivitas pengecoh. Efektivitas pengecoh dapat dikatan berfungsi dengan baik apabila opsi jawaban dipilih 5% dari jumlah siswa. Pengecoh tidak berfungsi dengan baik apabila dipilih kurang dari 5% jumlah siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode mixed methods dengan populasi semua siswa kelas VIII Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 57 siswa melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar soal, jawaban siswa, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan aspek efektivitas pengecoh menggunakan program Iteman versi 3.00. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai efektivitas pengecoh soal dikategorikan berfungsi dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Kualitas soal, Penilaian, Ulangan Harian

This research was intended to study the quality of daily material items on aspects of deception effectiveness of the deception can be said to function properly if the answer option is chosen by 5% of the number of students. Deceivers do not function properly if less than 5% of students are selected. This study used mixed methods with a population of all student on the 8th grade on 2019/2020 academic year. The study sample of 57 students by means purposive sampling technique. The instruments of data were question sheets, student answers, and interviews. Data analysis techniques were carried out based on aspects of the ability of the deciption using the Iteman Version 3.00 program.Based on the resuls of the study, it can be concluded that the value of the effectiveness of deceiving questions with functioning well categorized.
