Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persentase pemahaman konsep siswa melalui two tier diagnostic test. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian campuran (mix methods) dengan desain sequential explanatory dan dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Falah Kecamatan Socah Kabupaten Bangkalan dengan populasi semua siswa kelas VII Tahun Aajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes. Pengumpulan data mengunakan teknik tes untuk persentase pemahaman konsep. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Persentase pemahaman konsep siswa yaitu 50% dengan pemahaman konsep rendah, 30% dengan pemahaman konsep sedang, dan 20% dengan pemahaman konsep tinggi. AbstractionThis study purposes to analyse the percentage of students' conceptual understanding through two tier diagnostic test. This study applied a mix of research methods (mix methods) with a sequential explanatory design and it was implemented at MTs Al-Falah Socah District Bangkalan City with the population all of grade VII students in 2019/2020 Academic Year. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling technique. The samples of this study were 20 students. The data were collected through test. The data collection used test technique for percentage of conceptual understanding. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) The percentage of students' conceptual understanding was 50% with low conceptual understanding, 30% with medium conceptual understanding, and 20% with high conceptual understanding.
