ABSTRAK Abstrak: Sastra lisan merupakan karya yang lahir, dikenal, diwariskan, dan dilestarikan keberadaannya sehingga turut berperan dalam mencerminkan kebudayaan masyarakat pemiliknya. Cerita prosa rakyat yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah Legenda Gunung Pandan Di Desa Klino Kecamatan Sekar Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Legenda Gunung pandan diwariskan secara turun temurun oleh pemilik cerita (subyek kolektif) pemiliknya. Namun cerita prosa rakyat dalam objek penelitian ini berupa legenda kurang mendapat perhatian khusus dari generasi muda terkait apresiasi dan keberadaannya. Penelusuran terkait cerita legenda Gunung Pandan akan diarahkan dalam pengkajian nilai dan fungsi cerita legenda. Penggunaan kajian nilai legenda dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai yang ada dalam legenda. Sedangkan Penggunaan kajian fungsi William R. Bascom dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai fungsi yang terdapat dalam legenda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data informasi seputar cerita legenda gunung pandan dari tuturan lisan yang meliputi pengamatan, wawancara, perekaman, pencatatan, transkripsi, terjemahan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh Pertama, deskripsi cerita gunung pandan terdapat beberapa cerita yang disitu mempunyai perbedaan salah satunya dalam cerita awal legenda. Kedua,nilai moral legenda gunung pandan berupa hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, dan hubungan manusia dengan tuhan. Ketiga, nilai sosial legenda gunung pandan meliputi berbakti, kebersatuan dalam hidup, kegotong royongan, musyawarah, keadilan terhhadap sesama. Ketiga, cerita legenda gunung pandan memiliki lima wujud nilai budaya yang dijadikan sebagai penggerak, pengendali, proyeksi, tolok ukur, rujukan. Keempat, berdasarkan fungsi legenda gunung pandan, fungsi yang pertama dijadikan sebagai bentuk hiburan. Fungsi legenda sebagai sebuah bentuk alat pengesah pranata-pranata dan lembaga kebudayaan. fungsi legenda gunung pandan sebegai alat pendidik anak-anak. Fungsi legenda sebagai alat pemaksa dan pengawas agar norma masyarakat akan selalu dipatuhi oleh anggota kolektifnya. Begitu beragam nilai luhur yang terdapat dalam legenda ini sehingga menjadi kewajiban masyarakat pemiliknya untuk menjaga warisan budaya agar tetap terjaga keberlangsungannya. ABSTRACT Abstract: Oral literature is a work that was born, known, inherited, and preserved its existence hence it plays a role in reflecting the culture of the owner's community. The folk prose story about the Legend of Mount Pandan in Klino Village, Sekar District, Bojonegoro Regency is the object of this research. The legend of Gunung Pandan is inherited from generation to generation by the owner of the story (collective subject) of the owner. However, the people's prose story in the object of this research in the form of legend received less attention from the younger generation regarding their appreciation and existence. Searches related to the legendary story of Mount Pandan will be directed in assessing the value and function of the legend story. The use of legend value studies is intended to reveal the values ??that exist in the legend. While the use of William R. Bascom's function studies is intended to reveal the values ??of functions contained in the legend. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques of information about the legend of Mount Pandan from an oral speech which includes observation, interviews, recording, recording, transcription, translation, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained showed that: 1) First, the description of Gunung Pandan stories, several stories have differences, one of which is at the beginning of the legend 2) Second, the moral value of the legend of Mount Pandan is in the form of human relations with oneself, human relations with other humans, and human relationships with God. 3) Third, the social values ??of the legend of Mount Pandan include devotion, unity in life, cooperation, deliberation, justice towards others 4) Fourth, the story of the legend of Gunung Pandan has five forms of cultural values ??that serve as movers, controllers, projections, benchmarks, references 5) Fifth, based on the function of the legend of Mount Pandan, several functions can be known. The first function is used as a form of entertainment. The function of legend as a form of ratification of institutions and cultural institutions. The function of the legend of Mount Pandan as an educational tool for children. The function of legend as a means of coercion and control so that community norms will always be obeyed by their collective members. Diversity and the noble values are ??contained in this legend that the community of their owners must maintain, appreciate, and preserve cultural heritage to maintain its sustainability.
