Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Inducing Fear, The Roots of the Blood and Soil Mystique, Nature in National Socialist Ideology, Blood and Soil as Official Doctrine, dan Fascist Ecology in Context yang Mendorong dalam The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas karya John Boyne. Analisis novel ini menggunakan teori eko-fasisme yang berfokus pada Inducing Fear, The Roots of the Blood and Soil Mystique, Nature in National Socialist Ideology, Blood and Soil as Official Doctrine, dan Fascist Ecology in Context. Penulis memilih teori ini karena ini adalah studi yang meneliti karya sastra yang berfokus pada diskriminasi dan pemusnahan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam ide reflektif John Boyne melalui novelnya The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas yang terhubung dengan fenomena ekologi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran individu terhadap masalah lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif karena (1) data yang dianalisis dan ditafsirkan tidak dimanipulasi. (2) data yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis adalah dalam bentuk kata. (3) penelitian ini bukan untuk menguji teori eko-fasisme dan tidak untuk menolak teori eko-fasisme. Dari diskusi tersebut, potret Eko-fasisme digambarkan dalam karakter Shmuel. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada dua hal yang perlu mendapat perhatian pada Eko-fasisme, yaitu diskriminasi dan pemusnahan. Analisis data juga menyampaikan ras dan etnis sebagai masalah serius dan mereformasi populasi global yang mengarah pada pembaruan sifat global. This study aims to elaborate the Inducing Fear, The Roots of the Blood and Soil Mystique, Nature in National Socialist Ideology, Blood and Soil as Official Doctrine, and Fascist Ecology in Context in John Boyne's The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. The analysis of this novel used the theory of eco-fascism focuses on Inducing Fear, The Roots of the Blood and Soil Mystique, Nature in National Socialist Ideology, Blood and Soil as Official Doctrine, and Fascist Ecology in Context. The writer chose this theory because the study which examines literary work which focuses on discrimination and extermination. It can be seen in John Boyne's reflective idea through his The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas connected to ecology phenomenon in order to raise the individual awareness toward environmental problem. This study is conducted by using qualitative method because (1) the data that are analyzed and interpreted are not manipulated. (2) the data collected and analyzed are in the form of word. (3) this study was not to test theory of eco-fascism and not to reject theory of eco-fascism. From the discussion, the portrait of Eco-fascism is depicted in the character of Shmuel. The data analysis showed that there are two things that need attention on Eco-fascism, they are discrimination and extermination. The data analysis also conveys race and ethnic as a serious problem and reforms global population that leads to global nature renewal.
