Pabrik gula Kebon Agung merupakan salah satu pabrik pemproduksi gula pasir yang beroprasi secara kontinyu selama masa giling. Tidak menutup kemungkinan sering terjadi kerusakan pada mesin-mesin produksi, terutama pada mesin penggilingan tebu. Pengukuran efektivitas mesin perlu dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi mesin penggilingan tebu. Tujuan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja produksi pada mesin penggilingan tebu menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan menentukan jadwal perawatan mesin penggilingan tebu dengan diketahuinnya nilai overall equipment effectiveness pada Pabrik Gula Kebon Agung. Overall equipment effectiveness didapatkan dari perkalian nilai availability ratio, performance ratio dan quality ratio. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa nilai overall equipment effectiveness mesin penggilingan tebu PG Kebon Agung pada periode giling tahun 2018 didapatkan rata-rata sebesar 75,63%. Presentase tersebut belum memenuhi standar Internasional yaitu sebesar 85%. Meningkatnya nilai overall equipment effectiveness setelah dianalisis menggunakan diagram sebab akibat dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan pemeliharaan mesin penggilingan tebu atau preventive maintenance setiap 8 jam, melakukan pelatihan operator dan pemberharuan SOP untuk meningkatkan kinerja produksi.

Kebon Agung is one of the sugar factory that operates continously during milling period.It does not rule out the possibility of frequent damage to production machines, especially on sugar cane milling machines. Measuring the effectiveness of the machine is needed to evaluate the sugar cane milling machine.The purpose of this study is to determine the production performance of the sugar cane grinding machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method and determine the maintenance schedule of the sugar cane grinding machine by knowing the value of OEE at the Kebon Agung Sugar Mill. OEE is obtained from the multiplication of the availability ratio, performance ratio and rate of quality. The results shows that the OEE value of Kebon Agung's sugar cane milling machine in 2018 was obtained an average of 75.63%. The percentage does not meet international standards, which is 85%. Increasing the overall value of the equipment after being analyzed using a causal diagram is done using a sugar mill or preventive maintenance every 8 hours, conducting operator training and updating SOP to increase production.
