    Abstraksi

    Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui karakter kuantitatif dan kualitatif genotip harapan tanaman melon dan mengetahui hubungan kekerabatan 49 genotip harapan tanaman melon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bandungan, Kecamatan Pakong, Kabupaten Pamekasan ± 250 mdpl, pada bulan September sampai November 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 49 genotip yang diuji yaitu G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, G8, G9, G10, G11, G12, G13, G11, G12, G13, G14, G15, G16, G17, G18, G19, G20, G21, G22, G23, G24, G25, G26, G27, G28, G29, G30, G31, G32, G33, G34, G35, G36, G37, G38, G39, G40, G41, G42, G43, G44, G45, G46, G47, G48 dan G49 dan dievaluasi berdasarkan 93 karakter pengamatan menurut IPGRI (2003). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada karakter kualitatif yaitu warna batang, lobus daun, permukaan daun, warna daun, kecerahan daun, tipe bulu daun, garis halus pada vena, bulu tangkai daun, ukuran bunga, warna kulit buah dominan, warna kulit buah dominan kedua, warna daging buah, warna daging lapisan luar, dan pada karakter kuantitatif yaitu biomassa tanaman dan panjang internode. Hubungan kekerabatan 49 genotip tanaman melon dekat yaitu sebesar 92,4 %.

    Abstraction

    The purpose of this study is determine the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of melon plants genotypes and to find out the kinship relationships of 49 melon plants genotypes. This research was conducted in Bandungan Village, Pakong Subdistrict, Pamekasan Regency ± 250 meters above sea level, from September to November 2019. The research was conducted with 49 genotypes tested, namely G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, G8, G9, G10, G11, G12, G13, G11, G12, G13, G14, G15, G17, G18, G19, G20, G21, G21, G22, G23, G24, G25, G26, G27, G28, G30, G30, G31, G19 G32, G33, G34, G35, G36, G37, G38, G39, G40, G41, G42, G43, G44, G45, G46, G47, G47, G48 and G49 and evaluated based on 93 observational characters according to IPGRI (2003). The result study indicate that there are differences in qualitative characters, namely the color of the stem, leaf lobe, leaf surface, leaf color, leaf brightness, leaf feather type, fine lines on veins, petiole hair, flower size, dominant fruit skin color, second dominant fruit skin color, fruit flesh color, outer layer flesh color, and on the quantitative character of plant biomass and internode length. Relationship between 49 genotypes of melons close to 92.4%.
