Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti secara empiris bahwa locus of control bisa memoderasi pengaruh antara tekanan, rasionalisasi dan nilai etika terhadap plagiarisme di Perguruan Tinggi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data primer dalam penelitian ini berasal dari data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dosen akuntansi Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Jawa Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pertanyaan kepada responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan software partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan program Smart PLS 3.0 menunujukkan tekanan dan rasionalisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap plagiarisme. Nilai etika berpengaruh negatif terhadap plagiarisme. Locus of control dapat memoderasi pengaruh hubungan tekanan terhadap plagiarisme yang mempunyai pengaruh negatif. Locus of control dapat memoderasi pengaruh hubungan rasionalisasi terhadap plagiarisme yang mempunyai pengaruh negatif Locus of control tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh hubungan nilai etika terhadap plagiarisme yang mempunyai pengaruh positif Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa locus of control tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh nilai etika terhadap plagiarisme. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence that locus of control can moderate the influence between pressure, rationalization and ethical values on plagiarism in East Java Universities. This study uses a quantitative approach. Primary data in this study came from data obtained through questionnaires, the population in this study were all accounting lecturers of Private Universities in East Java. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing question questionnaires to respondents. This research was conducted using software partial least square (PLS). The results of the hypothesis testing study using the Smart PLS 3.0 program show that pressure and rationalization have a positive effect on plagiarism. Ethical values have a negative effect on plagiarism. Locus of control can moderate the effect of pressure relations on plagiarism which has a negative influence. Locus of control can moderate the effect of the rationalization relationship on plagiarism which has a negative influence Locus of control cannot moderate the influence of the relationship of ethical values on plagiarism which has a positive influence.
