    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada penerapan model pembelajaran concept attainment melalui pendekatan metaphorical thinking terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dengan tipe one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VIII A. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan tipe purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran concept attainment melalui pendekatan metaphorical thinking memperoleh persentase sebesar 92,42% dengan kategori sangat baik.

    Abstraction

    This study aims to determine the implementation of learning when applied to the concept attainment model through a metaphorical thinking approach to students’ conceptual understanding. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design type. This study was carried out at MTsN 2 Lamongan with a population of all class VIII students and the sample used was class VIII A. Sampling uses a non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. Data collection used observation, tests, questionnaires, and dokumentation. The results of this research showed that the implementation of concept attainment model through a metaphorical thinking approach was in very good category with percentage of 92.42%.
