Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer dengan Scientific Approach terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experimental design dan dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Gresik dengan populasi siswa kelas VII Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa yaitu 30 siswa di kelas ekperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket untuk motivasi siswa dan teknik tes untuk hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji levene pada angket Motivasi belajar dan uji t sampel bebas pada tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) pada angket motivasi belajar diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan pada tes hasil belajar diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,021 sehingga H0 ditolak maka ada perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (2) Pada Tes hasil belajar siswa banyaknya siswa yang tuntas di kelas eksperimen sebesar 30% (3) Pada angket motivasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 77,32% dengan kategori sangat baik (4) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model Advance Organizer terlaksana dengan sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 96,29%, (5) respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Advance Organizer sangat positif dengan nilai tertinggi 71,29%.
AbstractionThe aims of research to know the application of Advance Organizer learning model with the Scientific Approach to student learning outcomes and motivation. The research used a quasi experimental design method and was conducted at SMPN 4 Gresik with a population of seventh-grade students in the Academic Year 2018/2019. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research sample were 60 students, 30 students in class ekperimen and 30 students in kontrol. The Technique of collecting data used questionnaire for student motivation and test techniques for student learning outcomes. The technique of analyzing hypothesis testing data used the levene test on the motivation and independent sample t test on the student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) Motivation obtained a significance value of 0.000 and student learning outcomes test obtained a significance value of 0.021 so that H0 is rejected, there are differences in motivation and learning outcomes of students after the experimental class and the control class in the learning motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes, (2) On the test of student learning outcomes the number of students who complete in the experimental class is 30% (3) In the questionnaire learning motivation of students in the experimental class get a percentage value of 77.32% with a very good category (4) the implementation of learning used the Advance Organizer model was very well implemented with an average value of 96,29%, (5) student responses to the Advance Organizer model was very positive with the highhest score of 71,29%.
