Abstrak Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan motivasi belajar siswa berdasarkan gaya belajar visual, auditorial dan kinestetik di SMK Al Hikam Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket gaya belajar, observasi, angket motivasi belajar dan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga memperoleh 3 siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, 3 siswa dengan gaya belajar auditorial, dan 3 siswa dengan gaya belajar kinsestetik. Data angket, observasi dan wawancara kemudian direduksi, ditriangulasi, kemudian dianalisis oleh peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari seluruh subjek penelitian, siswa dengan gaya belajar visual memenuhi semua indikator motivasi belajar meliputi : perhatian (attention), kesesuaian (relevance), percaya diri (confodence) dan kepuasan (satisfaction). Siswa dengan gaya belajar auditorial hanya memenuhi 3 indikator motivasi belajar meliputi : kesesuaian (relevance), percaya diri (confodence) dan kepuasan (satisfaction). Siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik hanya memenuhi 2 indikator motivasi belajar meliputi : perhatian (attention) dan kepuasan (satisfaction). Kata Kunci : Gaya Belajar, Visual, Auditorial, Kinestetik, Motivasi Belajar, Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction.
AbstractionAbstract The purpose of this study is to describe or to represent the motivation of student learning based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning style at SMK Al Hikam Bangkalan. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The instruments which are used in this study, are learning style questionare, observation, learning motivation questionare and interviews to selected research subjects with purposive sampling technique, so it obtained 3 students with visual learning style, 3 students with auditory learning style, and 3 students with kinesthetic learning style. Questionare data, observations and interviews that were obtained, then it would be reduced, triangulated, then analyzed by researchers.The result of this study indicates that of all research subjects, students with visual learning style are fulfill all indicators of learning motivation including : attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Students with auditory learning style are only fulfill 3 indicators of learning motivation including : relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Student with kinesthetic learning style are only fulfill 2 indicators of learning motivation including : attention and satisfaction.
