ABSTRAK Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas Pertentangan Kelas Sosial Kaum Proletar Dan Kaum Borjuis Dalam Novel Gerhana Merah Karya Muhammad Sholihin Kajian Sosiologi Marxis. Penelitian ini dilator belakangi oleh adanya bentuk penindasan kelas atas yaitu kaum borjuis kepada kelas bawah yaitu kaum proletar dan bentuk perlawanan kaum proletar terhadap kaum borjuis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penindasan kelas atas yaitu kaum borjuis kepada kelas bawah yaitu kaum proletar dan bentuk perlawanan kaum proletar terhadap kaum borjuis yang terdapat dalam novel Gerhana Merah Karya Muhammad Sholihin kajian sosiologi sastra Marxis. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa novel Gerhana Merah karya Muhammad Sholihin. Pada data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks yang berupa kalimat yang menunjukkan pertentangan kelas dalam bentuk penindasan dan perlawanan dalam novel Gerhana Merah karya Muhammad Sholihin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik pustaka, teknik baca, dan teknik catat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat ditemukan pertentangan kelas dalam bentuk penindasan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh sentral sebagai kaum borjuis kepada kaum proletar yang memiliki kekuasaan dan kekuatan untuk melakukan apa saja agar keinginannya terpenuhi, salah satu tokoh yang bernama Mahesa melakukan pertentangan dalam bentuk perlawanan fisik, tulisan berbentuk syair mengenai kejahatan kaum borjuis terhadap kaum proletar, dan pemberontakan terhadap para tuan tanah. Ke dua hal tersebut menjadi penyebab terjadinya pertentangan kelas karena system kapitalis materialisme yang memandang semua hal dari segi materi, sehingga kaum proletar yang tidak mampu dalam hal materi tidak akan hidup dengan tenang, sedangkan kaum borjuis yang berkuasa dalam hal materi bebas melakukan apa saja. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bentuk penindasan berupa perampasan hak-hak, keadilan bagi kaum proletar dan perlawanan dalam bentuk pemberontakan kaum proletar kepada kaum borjuis Kata Kunci: Novel, Sosiologi Sastra Marxis, Pertentangan Kelas

ABSTRACT Abstract: This study discusses the Contradictions of the Lower Class (the proletariat) and the Upper Class (the bourgeoisie) in the Novel Gerhana Merah by Muhammad Sholihin (Study of Marxist Sociology). This research is motivated by the existence of the upper class forms of oppression namely the bourgeoisie to the lower classes namely the proletariat and the form of proletarian resistance to the bourgeoisie. This study aims to describe the form of high-class oppression of the bourgeoisie to the lower classes namely the proletariat and the form of proletarian resistance to the bourgeoisie found in the novel Gerhana Merah by Muhammad Sholihin, the study of the sociology of Marxist literature. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The source of this research data is the Gerhana Merah novel by Muhammad Sholihin. In the data in this study is a text in the form of a sentence that shows the class conflict in the form of oppression and resistance in the Gerhana Merah novel by Muhammad Sholihin. Data collection techniques in this study are library techniques, reading techniques, and note taking techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, class conflicts can be found in the form of oppression carried out by the central figure as the bourgeoisie to the proletariat who has the power and power to do anything so that their desires are fulfilled, one figure named Mahesa conducts opposition in the form of physical resistance, writing poetry about the crime of the bourgeoisie against the proletariat, and rebellion against landlords. Both of these are the causes of class conflict because the materialist capitalist system views all matters in terms of materiality, so that the proletariat who is incapable of material things will not live in peace, while the ruling bourgeoisie in material matters is free to do anything.
