  • PROSES BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL BANGUN DATAR DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN AWAL SISWA (Studi Kasus Siswa Kelas VI UPTD SDN Keleyan 1)

    Abstraksi

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Proses Berpikir Kreatif Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Bangun Datar Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Awal Siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Langkah pertama dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah mencari nilai kemampuan awal yang diperoleh dari nilai akhir semester 1 mata pelajaran matematika, selanjutnya menentukan subjek dari masing-masing kelompok rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Kemudian, dilakukan tes berpikir kreatif dengan materi Bangun Datar pada perwakilan subyek dari masing-masing kelompok. Penelitian menemukan bahwa setiap siswa mempunyai kemampuan awal dan dapat melakukan proses berpikir kreatif yang berbeda-beda. Hasil dari tes berpikir kreatif telah ditemukan: 1) 2 siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah dengan berpikir kreatif tingkat 0 yaitu Tidak Kreatif, dikarenakan subjek tidak ditemukan kemampuan indikator dalam berpikir kreatif yakni fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, dan originality; 2) 2 siswa dengan kemampuan awal sedang, dimana 1 siswa dengan berpikir kreatif tingkat 2 yaitu Cukup Kreatif dan 1 siswa dengan berpikir kreatif tingkat 4 yaitu Sangat Kreatif, dikarenakan subjek Cukup Kreatif tersebut hanya mampu menunjukkan indikator dalam berpikir kreatif yakni fluency, elaboration, dan sensitivity saja, sedangkan subjek Sangat Kreatif mampu menunjukkan indikator dalam berpikir kreatif yakni fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, dan originality; 3) 2 siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi memiliki karakteristik berpikir kreatif tingkat 4 yaitu Sangat Kreatif, dikarenakan subjek mampu menunjukkan indikator dalam berpikir kreatif yakni fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, dan originality. Selain itu terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir yakni kemampuan awal maupun kemapuan berpikir kreatif baik internal maupun eksternal. Kata Kunci : Proses Berpikir Kreatif, Kemampuan Awal, Bangun Datar, Faktor Kemapuan Awal dan Berpikir Kreatif.

    Abstraction

    Abstract The research aims to find the Creative Thinking Process of Students in Resolving the Plane Problems Reviewed from Student’s Initial Abilities. It uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The first step on doing this research is to find the value of the initial ability which obtained from the final score at first semester in mathematics lesson, then to determine the subject from each groups, that are low, average and high groups. Furthermore, a creative thinking test with plane lessons is done on the subject representatives from each groups. The research found that each of students has a different initial abilities and they can do a different process of creative thinking. The test results of creative thingking found that: 1) There are 2 students with low initial abilities with level 0 in creative thinking, is Not Creative, because the subject can not show the indicators of creative thinking namely fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, and originality. 2) There are 2 students with average initial abilities, where 1 student with level 2 in creative thinking is Quite Creative and 1 student with creative level 4 is Very Creative, because the quite creative subject is only show the indicators of creative thinking namely fluency, elaboration and sensitivity, while the Very Creative subject show the indicators of creative thinking namely fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, and originality. 3) There are 2 students with high initial abilities has level 4 in creative thinking characteristics is Very Creative, because the subject show the indicators of creative thinking namely fluency, elaboration, flexibility, sensitivity, and originality. Furthermore there are some factors which influence the ability to think, that are initial ability and ability of creative thinking both internally and externally.
