ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan media kotak belajar ajaib (kobela) berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi gaya magnet kelas V serta mengetahui kevalidan, keefektifan, kepraktisan dan ketertarikan siswa pada media kotak belajar ajaib (kobela) berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Langkah-langkah pengembangan ini yaitu 1) Potensi dan masalah, 2) Pengengumpulan data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Validasi desain, 5) Perbaikan desain, 6) Uji coba produk, 7) Revisi produk, 8) Uji coba pemakaian, 9) Revisi produk tahap akhir, 10) Produksi masal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Torjun 1. Media yang dikembangkan diuji kevalidannya melalui validasi ahli yaitu ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli materi pembelajaran dan ahli media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian uji kelompok kecil berjumlah 6 siswa dan pada uji coba kelompok besar 22 siswa. Hasil penelitian pengembangan menunjukkan skor total validasi ahli desain, validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh skor 91.03% (sangat valid). Efektivitas media pembelajaran dilihat dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa 95.2% (sangat aktif), dan dilihat dari lembar tes siswa memperoleh skor 86.36% (Tuntas). Kepraktisan dilihat dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru 95.2% (sangat praktis), Ketertarikan siswa terhadap media dilihat dari respon siswa memperoleh skor 89.81% (sangat tertarik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan media kotak belajar ajaib (kobela) berbasis keterampilan proses sains dinyatakan valid, efektif, praktis dan siswa tertarik sehingga media layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar kelas V. AbstractionABSTRACT The development research aims to produce magic learning box media (kobela) based on science process skills in the fifth-grade magnetic force material and to find out the validity, effectiveness and interest of students in the magic learning box media (kobela) based on science process skills. The development research uses the Borg and Gall model. The steps for this development are; The first, potential and problems. The second, data collection. The third, product design. The fourth, design validation. The fifth, design improvements. The sixth, testing the product. The seventh, product revision. The eighth, trial usage. The ninth, final product revision. The tenth, massive production. This research was conducted in the fifth grade of the Elementry School 1 Torjun. The media developed were tested for validity through expert validation, namely learning design experts, learning material experts and learning media experts.The subjects of the small group test were 6 students and in the trial of a large group of 22 students. The results of the development research showed the total score of design expert validation, material expert validation and learning media expert validation got a score of 91.03% (very valid). Effective learning media seen from the test sheet student get a score of 86.36% (complete). Practically learning media seen from teacher activity observation sheets 95.20% (very practical). Student interest in the media is seen from the response of student to score 89.81% (very interested). Based on these result indicate media magic learning box (kobela) baced on science process skill declared valid, effective, practically and student interested so that the media is worthy of being used as a medium for learning sciences in fifth-grade elementary schools.
