ABSTRACT Laily, Imarotul. 15.05.1.1.1.00126. Woman Against Patriarchy System in Bella Forrest’s The Gender Game: Radical Libertarian Feminism. Thesis. English Study Program of the faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences, University of Trunojoyo Madura. Advisor: Imron Wakhid Harits, Ph.D. The aim of this study is to find out the power and radical libertarian feminist of the main character within The Gender Game novel by Bella Forrest. The power of the main character is proved as she becomes a strong woman, protector, and woman fighter. Radical libertarian feminist is shown as she becomes androgyny person and avoids maternal life. The data of this study are the main character and other character utterances and also the author narrations. Qualitative research is utilized in this study. The methods of the data collections are reading, labeling, classifying, and ensuring. The data are filtered and matched by the writer herself. The method of data analysis in this study conducts Miles' and Huberman's technique. The data are reduced, displayed, and concluded. The result of the finding shows that the main character’s power and radical libertarian feminist are highly grown by her hard life. There are two major points of analysis, first the power of Violet breaks the patriarchy system. It can be seen through (1) Violet as a strong woman (2) Violet as a protector, (3) Violet as a woman fighter. Second, Radical libertarian feminism which is carried out by the author through Violet as the main character, those are (1) Violet as androgyny person and (2) Violet avoids maternal life.
