An Analysis of Agentive Noun in Light Novel Entitled Spice & Wolf by Isuna HasekuraPenulis : M. Ahkim AlfarihDosen Pembimbing I : Iqbal Nurul Azhar, S.S., M.HumDosen Pembimbing II :Abstraksi
The aim of the study is to explain the agentive noun which exist in the light novel entitled Spice & Wolf by Isuna Hasekura. In analyzing the data, the writer used two theories. The first theory was proposed by Saeed (2003). The Second theory was proposed by Owoeye (2013). In this study, the writer used descriptive qualitative design. The writer used qualitative content analysis to collect the data. The writer used interactive data analysis to analyze the data. The results of the study show that there are two kinds of Agentive Noun found in the data, namely Regular Agentive Noun (32 data) and Irregular Agentive Noun (2 data). The study also found out that there are 3 types of Semantics Interpretation of Agentive Noun found in the data, namely Animate Agent (19 data), Professional Agent (14 data), and Partisan Agent (1 datum). No Inanimate Agent and Instrument Agent found in the data. Keywords: Agentive Noun, Types, Semantics Interpretation.
