This study uses the feminism Theory that focus on the Liberal feminism. The characters that will be analyzed are Mae and Annie as the representative of liberal women portrayed in the novel. Therefore, this study aims to explain the way how are the liberal feminism depicted by Mae Holland and Annie’s characters. In addition, this study is conducted using a qualitative research approach. The research instrument in this study is the researcher himself. After analyzing the novel, “The Circle”, the conclusion of this study found in this novel. The first is: Mae depicts the liberal feminism as women who actives in public sphere, women at work, reproductive rights, sisterhood or empower to other women, and education.
