The aim of this study analyses the types of language style in Crazy Rich Asians movie. This study also describes the factors affect in uttering different style used by main characters while doing conversation. This study used Martin Joos (1976) theory for analyzing the types of language style. In addition, the factors affecting the language style used the theory of Janet Holmes (2012). This study was conducted by using qualitative research design. Furthermore, this study used the main instrument, the researcher in collecting the data. The method of collecting the data is interactive analysis. It is conducted by several steps; they are data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. It is used to analyze and explain the data, the data of this study is the words, phrase or sentence uttered by main characters. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that there are five types of language styles found in Crazy Rich Asians movie. They are, formal style (11 data), consultative style (3 data), casual style (9 data) and intimate style (1 data). Formal style is the most dominant used by the characters. In other hand, the factor which really affects the use of different style is participant. Especially, the person who talk and who is the interlocutor with the high social status will be really influenced the style.
