    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui rancangan alternatif proses produksi sepatu kulit yang lebih ekonomis tetapi secara kualitas sama dari yang sebelumnya dengan menggunakan metode rekayasa nilai. Hasil penelitian ini memunculkan beberapa alternatif proses produksi sepatu kulit. alternatif yang dipilih adalah alternatif yang memiliki nilai tertinggi dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa alternatif 2 adalah alternatif yang memiliki nilai tertinggi dengan nilai yang dihasilkan sebesar 1,259, yang dimana alternatif ini menggunakan bahan baku kulit jenis mill dan lem fox kuning. Proses produksi pengeringan dengan bantuan cahaya matahari dengan target waktu yang telah ditentukan. Desain yang dipilih yang paling banyak diminati dengan banyak variasi warna. Alternatif 2 ini dapat menurunkan biaya produksi yang awalnya biaya produksi sebesar Rp 210.048/pasang setelah menggunakan rencana kerja rekayasa nilai menjadi Rp 200.014/pasang terdapat selisih biaya sebesar Rp 10.034/pasang.     Abstraction

    This study aims to investigate the alternative design of leather shoes production processes which is more economical, however, the quality is similiar than the previous ones using value engineering methods. The results of this study arised several alternative processes for the production of leather shoes. The alternative that chosen has the highest value and it is get the result that alternative 2 has the highest value of 1,259, which besides, thus alternative using mill-type leather and yellow fox glue. The production process of drying using the sunshine with a specified time. The design that chosen is the most popular with many variations of color. Thus alternative 2 can reduce the production costs that the production costs in the first time, it is IDR 210,048/pair-package, then, after the alternative 2 using the value engineering work plan, it is IDR 200,014/pair-package, and there is a difference in costs, it is IDR 10,034/pair-package.
