    Abstraksi

    PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi monosodium glutamate (msg) di Indonesia sejak tahun 1979 hingga sekarang. Persaingan bisnis diantara produk monosodium glutamate (msg) menyebabkan PT XYZ berusaha secara maksimal untuk tetap mempertahankan loyalitas para konsumen dengan mengutamakan kualitas produk. Salah satu usaha dalam mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan dengan pengendalian kualitas kemasan (packaging), namun kenyatannya masih banyak ditemukan permasalahan pada kecacatan proses pengemasan yakni kecacatan seperti coding abnormal, seal abnormal, seal jelek, film kosong baik, dan film kosong out. Kecacatan yang terjadi menyebabkan kerugian materi yang besar bagi perusahaan XYZ karena terdapat proses rework produk. Selain itu menyebabkan target produk monosodium glutamate (msg) yang baik tidak terpenuhi. Berdasarkan kecacatan-kecacatan yang terjadi untuk mengetahui kecacatan yang menjadi fokus penyelesaian maka dilakukan dengan perhitungan diagram pareto. Hasil dari diagaram pareto adalah produk coding abnormal 35,3%, seal abnormal 30,8%, dan seal jelek 18,4%. Agar penyebab permasalaan jenis-jenis cacat tersebut dapat berkurang maka dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kecacatan produk dengan proses pengemasan dengan statistical process control (SPC) dan untuk mengetahui penyebab dari permasalahan produk dilakukan dengan metode delphi.

    Abstraction

    PT XYZ is one of the companies that produce monosodium glutamate (msg) in Indonesia since 1979 until now. Business competition between monosodium glutamate (msg) products causes PT XYZ to strive to maintain customer loyalty by prioritizing product quality. One effort to maintain customer loyalty is packaging quality, but in fact there are still many problems with disability in the packaging process, namely disability such as abnormal coding, abnormal seals, bad seals, good blank films, and empty out films. Disability that occurs causes a large material loss for the XYZ company because there is a process of product rework. Besides that, the good target of monosodium glutamate (msg) products is not fulfilled. Based on the defects that occur to find out the defects that are the focus of the settlement, it is done by calculating the Pareto diagram. The results of the pareto diagaram are abnormal coding products 35.3%, abnormal seals 30.8%, and bad seals 18.4%. In order to reduce the causes of problems with the types of defects, an analysis was conducted to determine whether there was a relationship between product defects and statistical process control (SPC) and to find out the causes of product problems using the delphi method.
