    Abstraksi

One of the problems that occurred at PT. XYZ is not achieving production targets and one of the reasons for not achieving production targets is high downtime. As a result of not achieving the production target companies often impose overtime. The reason for not achieving the production target is the low score of the effectiveness of the machine therefore the machine cannot operate optimally. Based on the calculation of the effectiveness score using the OEE method, it is known that the OEE for all LPDC machines is still below the ideal standard of JIPM (Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance), which is 85%. The biggest six big losses factor that affects the score of OEE is reducing speed losses and idling and minor stoppage losses. The recommendations given are to provide training to operators on a regular basis and improve coordination between the production department, PPIC department, production department and the die assurance department. Keywords: OEE, Six Big Losses
