    Abstraksi

    Sistem informasi merupakan suatu sistem yang saling bergabung dengan serangkaian prosedur dan metode yang berhasil dirancang dan berfungsi untuk menghasilkan, menganalisis, menyebarkan, dan memperoleh informasi guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan mengenai aktivitas bisnis (Galih, 2016). Sistem informasi berbasis web sering digunakan dalam rung lingkup Universitas sebagai media penyampaian informasi seperti web kampus, koordinasi antar entitas universitas seperti penyusunan KRS, peminjaman buku perpustakaan, pendaftaran wisuda dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi kerja praktik di program studi Teknik Industri Universitas Trunojoyo Madura untuk menunjang pengelolaan kegiatan kerja praktik seperti pengajuan surat pengantar ke perusahaan tempat kerja praktik, kegiatan bimbingan, pendaftaran sidang KP, penjadwalan sidang KP, hingga penilaian sidang KP. Sistem informasi ini dikembangkan dengan metode waterfall model dan didesain menggunakan diagram UML yaitu usecase diagram dan activity diagram. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi kerja praktik ini dapat menunjang kegiatan pemberkasan kerja praktik.     Abstraction

    Information system is a system that joins together with a series of procedures and methods that are successfully designed and functioning to produce, analyze, disseminate, and obtain information to support decision making regarding business activities (Galih, 2016). Web-based information systems are often used in the scope of the University as a medium for delivering information such as the campus web, coordination between university entities such as the preparation of KRS, library book borrowing, graduation registration and so on. This study developed a practical work information system in the Industrial Engineering study program at Trunojoyo University, Madura to support the management of practical work activities such as submitting a letter of introduction to a practical workplace company, guidance activities, KP trial registration, KP trial scheduling, and KP trial evaluation. This information system was developed by the waterfall model method and was designed using UML diagrams, namely usecase diagrams and activity diagrams. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that this practical work information system can support practical work filing activities.
