ABSTRAK Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) pada Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Darul Asmail Husna belum maksimal. Salah satunya adalah proses pengelolaan data pesantren masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan belum terkomputerisasi. Permasalahan yang di hadapi yaitu penerapan teknologi informasi membutuhkan biaya yang mahal. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari solusi agar biaya penerapan teknologi informasi di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Darul Asmail Husna menjadi lebih murah dan membantu proses pengelolaan data yang ada di pesantren dengan adanya implementasi PaaS (platform as a service) pada aplikasi Manajeman Pesantren. Aplikasi ini di bangun menggunakan platform Google App Engine (GAE) dan bahasa pemograman Python. Adapun pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan berdasarkan model Waterfall dimana memiliki 4 tahap pengembangan, yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Pengujian perangkat lunak dilakukan berdasarkan standar ISO 9126 yang mengacu pada Web Quality Evaluation Method (WebQEM), dengan aspek: functionality, efficiency, reliability , dan usability. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) penerapan PaaS pada aplikasi manejemen pesantren berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan yaitu dengan adanya aplikasi manajemen pesantren yang sudah siap pakai. (2) hasil pengujian aplikasi manajemen pesantren diperoleh aspek functionality mendapatkan persentase 100 % dengan nilai X = 1, yang artinya semua fungsi sudah berjalan dengan benar, aspek reliability mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 100 % dengan hasil SUCCESS, aspek usability mendapatkan persentase 84,58 % atau berada dalam kategori setuju, dan untuk aspek efficiency mendapatkan skor performa rata-rata 72,4 dengan peringkat C serta untuk load time yaitu 4,8 detik di mana waktu tersebut masih dapat diterima oleh pengguna. ABSTRACT The utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Darul Asmail Husna Islamic Boarding School has not been maximized. One of them is the process of managing the pesantren data is still done conventionally and has not been computerized. The problem faced is that the application of information technology is expensive. Based on the above problems, the purpose of this study is to find a solution so that the cost of implementing information technology at Darul Asmail Husna Islamic Boarding Schools becomes cheaper and helps the data management process in the pesantren with the implementation of PaaS (platform as a service) on the application Boarding School Management. This application is built using the Google App Engine (GAE) platform and the Python programming language. The application development is based on the Waterfall model which has 4 development stages, namely: needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Software testing is carried out based on ISO 9126 standard which refers to the Web Quality Evaluation Method (WebQEM), with aspects: functionality, efficiency, reliability, and usability. The results of this study are: (1) the application of PaaS in boarding school management applications goes as expected, with the pesantren management application ready to use. (2) the results of the pesantren management application test obtained the functionality aspect of getting a percentage of 100% with a value of X = 1, which means that all functions are running correctly, reliability aspects get an average percentage of 100% with SUCCESS, usability aspects get a percentage of 84.58 % or in the agreed category, and for the efficiency aspect get an average performance score of 72.4 with rank C and for load time which is 4.8 seconds where the time can still be accepted by the user.
