Distribusi merupakan suatu proses penyampaian produk dari produsen kepada konsumen. Di dalam proses distribusi terdapat suatu biaya yang besar atau kecilnya biaya tersebut akan mempengaruhi harga jual dan keuntungan yang akan diperoleh oleh perusahaan tersebut. Besar kecilnya biaya distribusi ditentukan oleh jarak dan rute yang ditempuh dalam mengantarkan produk kepada konsumen. Stockist PT. XYZ menentukan rute distribusi berdasarkan urutan pemesanan dari toko sehingga stockist memiliki rute bolak-balik sehingga mengakibatkan jarak yang dilalui stockist terlalu panjang yang menyebabkan biaya distribusi stockist semakin meningkat. Algoritma nearest neighbour merupakan salah satu algoritma dalam VRP yang digunakan untuk merancang rute dalam proses distribusi. Algoritma nearest neighbour bekerja dengan menentukan urutan kunjungan toko berdasarkan kedekatan jarak sehingga dapat memperpendek jarak yang akan dilalui. Hasil dari penelitian ini algoritma nearest neighbour dapat meminimalkan biaya distribusi stockiest PT. XYZ sebesar 39.18% pada pengiriman tanggal 5 Maret 2019 dan 0.82% pada tanggal 6 Maret 2019. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode VRP algoritma nearest neighbour efektif diterapkan pada stockiest PT. XYZ untuk meminimasi biaya yang digunakan proses distribusi.

Distribution is a process of delivering products from producers to consumers. In the distribution process there is a cost that is large or small, these costs will affect the selling price and profits to be obtained by the company. The size of distribution costs is determined by the distance and route taken to deliver the product to consumers. PT. Stockist XYZ determines the distribution route based on order order from the store so that the stockist has an alternating route so that the distance passed by the stockist is too long which causes the stockist distribution costs to increase. The nearest neighbor algorithm is an algorithm in VRP that is used to design routes in the distribution process. The nearest neighbor algorithm works by determining the order of store visits based on the proximity of the distance so that it can shorten the distance to be traveled. The results of this study the nearest neighbor algorithm can minimize the cost of stockiest distribution of PT. XYZ is 39.18% on shipments dated March 5, 2019 and 0.82% on March 6, 2019. This shows that the nearest neighbor VRP algorithm method is effectively applied to the stockiest of PT. XYZ to minimize the costs used by the distribution process.
