Kecamatan sambeng merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil jagung di Kabupaten Lamongan, namun luas panen, produksi dan produktivitas tanaman jagung mengalami penurunan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganlisi faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani jagung, tingkat efisiensi teknis, perilaku risiko petani jagung, dan keterkaitan antara efisiensi teknis dengan perilaku risiko petani. Metode yang digunakan yaitu fungsi produksi Cobb- Douglas Stochastic Frontier, dikskriptif kuantitatif dan korelasi sederhana. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu variabel luas lahan, umur, pupuk kandang dan benih bernilai positif dan berpengaruh nyata. Petani jagung tidak efisien secara teknis, perilaku petani jagung termasuk kategori risk neutral dan risk lovers, serta tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efisiensi teknis dengan perilaku risikonya. Sambeng Subdistrict is one of the corn production areas in Lamongan Regency, but the harvested area, the production and productivity of corn plants have decreased. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the production of corn farming, the level technical efficiency level, the risk behavior of corn farmers, and the relationship between technical efficiency and farmer risk behavior. The method used is the Cobb-Douglas Stochastic Frontier production function, quantitative descriptive and simple correlation. The result of the research obtained is variable land area, age, manure and seeds are positive and have a significant effect. Corn farmers are not technically efficient, the behavior of corn farmers included the risk neutral and the risk lovers, and there is no significant relationship between technical efficiency towards risk behavior.
