    Abstraksi

    Abstraction

Anthracnose is caused by the fungi Colletotrichum sp, more than 90% of anthracnose that infects chili due to the fungus Colletotrichum capsici. Bacillus sp. is known as a group of PGPR bacteria that can induce plant growth and resistance to disease through various mechanisms. Bacillus sp. is an antagonistic bacterium that has the ability to produce ciderophore, an antibacterial producer, and plant antipathogen. Purpose the study was to obtain Bacillus sp. isolates from Sumenep which could potentially inhibit the development of Collectotrichum capsici which causes anthracnose. The antagonistic test of Bacillus sp. against fungi Collectotrichum capsici was carried out by double layer method in vitro. From this study five isolates of Bacillus sp. which is potentially a biological controlling agent. Antagonist test for Bacillus sp. the highest inhibition of Collectotrichum capsici fungi was BP1 treatment of 86.94%.
