Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh demokratis ibu terhadap perkembangan psikososial ditinjau dari teori Erik Erikson pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan ibu dan anak usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 12 ibu dan anak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai korelasi -0,33 dan kontribusi hubungan sebesar 10,89%. Analisis data tersebut menunjukan hubungan rendah antara pola asuh demokratis ibu terhadap perkembangan psikososial tahap inisiatif versus rasa bersalah.

This study is aim to know the relationship between system care of mother to child according to the development of psycosocial observed from theory Erik Erikson to a child in 5-6 year-old. This study obtain at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten in Bangkalan. This study use quantitative method by way of research correlational technique. The subject of this research is mother and children in old of 5-6 year as many as 12 mother and children. The technique collecting of data used by polling, observation, and documentation. The analysis of data utilise Rank Spearman Rank correlation. The result of analysis data is obtained score correlation 0,33 and contribution of connecting in the amount of 10,89%. Those analysis data show the low of connected between the system care of democratic mother to development psycososial stage initiative an guilty feeling. The low of relationship appear because of the system care of democratic mother sometimes do to children.
