Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sampang, Sampang tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sampang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII B sebanyak 17 siswa. Teknik analisis data pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis persentase pengaruh keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran diperoleh nilai -t hitung < t tabel < t hitung (-11,544 < 2,119 < 11,544) maka H o diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW) berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat dengan data pretest rata-rata sebesar 33,33 dan data posttest rata-rata sebesar 62,5. Rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 67% dengan kategori positif. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW) berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. AbstractionThe main purpose of research is to determine the effect of think talk write (TTW) learning model on students’ critical thinking skills grade 8 of Junior High School 4 Sampang, Sampang academic year 2017/2018. This research is an experimental study used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-postest. The population is all student grade 8. The samples were selected using purposive sampling. The samples were B class consisted 17 students. Testing hypothesis was analized using paired samples t-test. The result of hypothesis testing for percentage the effect of the critical thinking skills before and after learning -t count < t table < t count (-11,544 < 2,119 < 11,544) then H o is rejected and H 1 is accepted. Based on the result of the hypothesis testing it can be concluded that the think talk write (TTW) learning model influences students’ critical thinking skills. The results showed that students’ critical thinking skills increased with and average pretest data of 33,33 and an average posttest data of 62,5. The average learning performance is 95% with very good categories. The average student response is 67% with positive category.
