ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa kelas X SMKN 2 Bangkalan dengan gaya kognitif field dependence (FD) pada materi IP subnetting dan mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa kelas X SMKN 2 Bangkalan dengan gaya kognitif tipe field independence (FI) pada materi IP subnetting. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat siswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada soal yang sama di konsep yang berbeda. Untuk siswa field dependence (FD) I mengalami miskonsepsi pada soal no. 1 dan soal no. 3. Soal no. 1 dengan indikator menentukan subnetmask, kelas, jumlah host valid, dan host range suatu jaringan. Miskonsepsi terjadi pada konsep menggunakan aturan kelas jaringan dan membedakan penggunaan konsep antara banyaknya biner 1 (X) dan banyaknya biner 0 (Y). Siswa tidak bisa membedakan antara X dan Y. Siswa field dependence (FD) II mengalami miskonsepsi pada soal no. 1, no.2, dan no. 3. Miskonsepsi terjadi konsep menggunakan aturan kelas jaringan dan membedakan penggunaan konsep antara banyaknya biner 1 (X) dan banyaknya biner 0 (Y). Siswa tidak bisa membedakan antara X dan Y. Siswa field independence (FI) I mengalami miskonsepsi pada soal no. 1 dan no.3. Miskonsepsi siswa terjadi pada konsep penggunaan konsep aturan kelas jaringan. Miskonsepsi Siswa field independence (FI) II sama seperti yang dialami Siswa field independence (FI) I yaitu mengalami miskonsepsi pada soal no. 1 dan 3, miskonssepsi terjadi pada konsep penggunaan konsep aturan kelas jaringan. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is describe the misconceptions that occur in class X SMK 2 Bangkalan with cognitive field dependence (FD) in the IP subnetting material and describe misconceptions that occur in class X SMK 2 Bangkalan with field independence (FI) cognitive style on IP subnetting material.
