Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap produk sistem pendukung keputusan penentuan siswa kelas unggulan dengan metode TOPSIS. Indikator kelas unggulan adalah nilai minimum 80 pada kriteria Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Agama. Sedangkan Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an memiliki nilai yang lebih unggul dari ke-4 kriteria sebelumnnya. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Waterfall. Kriteria yang diujikan untuk seleksi kelas unggulan langsung dari sekolah meliputi soal tes Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, IlmuPengetahuanAlam, Agama dan Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an. Sampel penelitian adalah 2 uji ahli sistem dan 2 uji perorangan yang terdiri dari dosen, admin dan guru. Kemudian 25 siswa yang terdiri dari uji coba kelompok kecil 5 siswa dan uji coba kelompok besar 20 siswa MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan dengan teknik pengambilan data kelas VIIA.Instrumen penelitian meliputi uji sistem, uji perorangan, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji kelompok besar. Hasil pengujian functional oleh ahli sistem mendapatkan persentase 100% bahwa semua dinyatakan berfungsi dan dapat dikatakan sistem ini sangat layak dan tidak perlu revisi. Hasil persentase pengujian usability perorangan yang dilakukan oleh admin dan guru mendapatkan 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Penilaian uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan persentase 88,8% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan memenuhi aspek usability. Serta uji siswa kelompok besar persentase 92,3% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan memenuhi aspek usability. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan untuk seleksi penentuan siswa kelas unggulan di MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan. This study aims to study the feasibility and response of students to the decision support system products of excellent class students with the TOPSIS method. The excellent class indicator is minimum value of 80 on the criteria of Mathematics, Indonesian Language, Science, and Religion. While Al-Qur'an Readingand Writing has a value that is more excellent to the previous four criteria. The research model used is the Waterfall development model. The criteria tested directly fromschoolare Mathematics, Indonesian Language, Science, Religion and Qur'anic Reading and Writing. The research sample was 2 system expert tests and 2 individual tests consisting of lecturers, admins and teachers. Then 25 students consisted of a small group of 5 students and a large group of 20 students from MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan with the VIIA class data collection technique. The research instruments included the test system, individual test, small group test, and large group test. The functional test results by system experts get a percentage of 100% that all declared functioning and it can be said that this system is very feasible and does not need revision. The results of the percentage of individual usability testing conducted by the admin and the teacher get 90% with a "very feasible category. The assessment of the small group testing received a percentage of 88.8% with the category "very feasible" and fulfilling the usability aspect. Then the test of large group of students was 92.3% with the category "very feasible" and fulfilling the usability aspect. Based on these results it can be concluded that the decision support system was declared very feasible to be used for selection determination of excellent class students at MTs 2 Lamongan.
