    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental design. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana Pengaruh Motivasi Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya?” Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 316 Siswa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling sistematis. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah unjuk kerja atau tes kemampuan motivasi belajar dengan keterampilan menulis puisi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji signifikan dan korelasi prodact moment. Uji normalitas penelitian ini berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan uji homogenitas bersifat homogen. Perhitungan uji (uji t) diperoleh thitung = 4,98 Dan ttabel= 2,101 Pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05 Yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung >ttabel sehingga ho ditolak dan ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat diambil keputusan bahwa pengaruh motivasi belajar berpengaruh dalam keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP 47 Surabaya.

    Abstraction

    This research is a quantitative approach research with quasi experimental design method. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the Effect of Motivation on Poetry Writing Skills of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya?" The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation on poetry writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 47 Surabaya. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, amounting to 316 students with sampling using systematic sampling. The main instrument in this study is the performance or test of learning motivation and poetry writing skills. The data analysis technique uses normality test, homogeneity test, significant test and prodact moment correlation. The normality test of this research is normal distribution. Whereas the homogeneity test is homogeneous. Test calculations (t test) obtained tcount = 4.98 and ttable = 2.101 At a significant level ? = 0.05 It can be concluded that tcount> ttable so that ho is rejected and ha is accepted. Thus the decision can be taken that the influence of learning motivation is influential in writing poetry skills in class VIII SMP 47 Surabaya.
