    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran orang tua terhadap prestasi anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu Guru, Anak berprestasi dan Orang Tua. Teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua: (1) Orang tua sebagai pendidik yaitu mengatur waktu belajar anak, melaksanakan kegiatan belajar dengan membaca, berlatih soal dan bertanya, mengikutkan anak pada les jarimatika membiasakan anak membaca setiap hari dalam waktu beberapa menit, menyediakan alat belajar (buku, alat tulis, alat menggambar). (2) Motivator diaksanakan dengan mengigatkan belajar anak, memberikan gagasan motivasi dan contoh teladan figur orang tua. (3) Pendidik disiplin anak dengan membuat tata tertib. (4) Komunikator adanya keputusan bersama dalam membuat tata tertib. (5) Fasilitator memberikan tempat belajar yang luas, bersih, dan terdapat ventilasi udara. Peran orang tua tersebut dapat menghasilkan anak-anak berprestasi di sekolah. Dalam juara 3 Bahasa Inggris lomba Indonesia berprestasi season 6 rodshow 20 kota, juara ke 3 Matematika olimpiade nasional 7 di tingkat Provinsi Jawa Timur dan juara 1 melukis jambore ranting kecamatan Kedungadem

    Abstraction

    This study aims to describe the role of parents in children's performance. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with the subject of research, namely Teachers, Achieving Children and Parents. Purposive sampling sampling technique. This study uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents: (1)Parents as educators, namely regulating children's learning time, carrying out learning activities by reading, practicing questions and asking questions, including children on jarimatika lessons familiarize children to read every day in a few minutes, provide learning tools (books, stationery, drawing tools). (2)Motivators are carried out by remembering children's learning, providing motivational ideas and exemplary examples of parent figures.(3) Educators of child discipline by making order. (4) Communicators have joint decisions in making order. (5)The facilitator provides a study area that is spacious, clean, and has air ventilation. The role of these parents can produce high achieving children in school. In the 3rd place in the English Language Indonesian competition, there were 20 city season 6 rodshow achievements, 3rd place in the 7th National Olympiad Mathematics at the East Java Province level and 1st place painting the Kedungadem sub-district jamboree.
