Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran sekolah dalam menanamkan kesadaran jiwa nasionalisme di UPTD SD Negeri Socah 2 Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Subjek penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian (1) peran sekolah UPTD SD Negeri 2 Socah Bangkalan dalam menanamkan kesadaran jiwa nasionalisme telah terlaksana dengan baik ditunjukkan dengan tercapainya indikator jiwa nasionalisme, penanaman tersebut ditunjukkan dengan upaya sekolah melalui kegiatan memberikan contoh (modelling) dan kegiatan pembiasaan. Seperti pelaksanaan upacara bendera pada hari senin serta setiap pagi sebelum pembelajaran dimulai diputarkan lagu nasional melalui speaker. Penanaman kesadaran jiwa nasionalisme tersebut terlihat pada tercapainya beberapa aspek yaitu menghargai jasa pahlawan, bangga menggunakan produk dalam negeri, hafal lagu kebangsaan, menghargai dan mempelajari beragam tradisi budaya, serta menghargai keindahan alam. (2) kendala yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya kesadaran pada diri siswa, faktor lingkungan, serta kurangnya kegiatan yang menanamkan kesadaran jiwa nasionalisme. (3) solusi yang diberikan yaitu memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya jiwa nasionalisme melalui kegiatan pembelajaran serta mewajibkan siswa mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang mengarah pada nasionalisme. Seperti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pencak silat dan kegiatan pramuka.
AbstractionThis study aims to determine the role of schools in instilling the awareness of nationalism, the obstacles faced in instilling the awareness of the spirit of nationalism, and the right solution in instilling awareness of the spirit of nationalism at the State UPTD Socah 2. The role of the school is very important in instilling the awareness of the spirit of nationalism, because the school is a formal educational institution that provides knowledge and character building after the family environment. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with the subject of principals, teachers, and students. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study were obtained (1) the role of the school of the State UPTD 2 Socah Bangkalan in instilling the awareness of the spirit of nationalism has been well implemented as indicated by the achievement of indicators of the spirit of nationalism, such planting is indicated by the efforts of the school through modeling and habituation activities. Like the flag ceremony on Monday and every morning before learning begins, national songs are played through the speakers. The planting of soul awareness of nationalism can be seen in the achievement of several aspects, namely respecting the services of heroes, proud of using domestic products, memorizing national songs, appreciating and learning various cultural traditions, and respecting the beauty of nature. (2) constraints faced are a lack of awareness of students, environmental factors, and lack of activities that instill awareness of the spirit of nationalism. (3) the solution given is to provide an understanding of the importance of the spirit of nationalism through learning activities and require students to take part in activities that lead to nationalism. Such as pencak silat extracurricular activities and scout activities.
