    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV A dan IV B SDN Donan II yang berjumlah masing-masing 21 siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar tes uraian dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita siswa berdasarkan uji-t independent dua sampel, dengan t hitung sebesar 2,44. Dengan t = t (?/2, n-2) = 2,02108, dengan t hitung lebih dari t tabel tabel sehingga terdapat pengaruh Model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita matematika siswa. Perolehan uji gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,52 dengan kriteria sedang, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa Model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita matematika siswa.     Abstraction

    This research is a quantitative research experiment using Quasi Experimental design. This research was conducted at class IV A and IV B SDN Donan II which amounted to 21 students each. This study aims to determine the influence of the Missouri model Mathematics Project (MMP) to the ability to solve the story problem students. The instrument used in the study is a test sheet description and student activity observation sheet. The results show there a significant influence model of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) on the ability to solve the problem of student stories based on t-test independent two samples, with t count of 2.44. With t = t (? / 2, n-2) = 2.02108, with t count more than t table table so there is a Model effect learning of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) on ability completion of student math story. Acquisition of a normalized gain test of 0.52 with medium criteria, so it can be stated that Model learning the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) can improve the ability to solve the problem of student math story.
