Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi English Class Program di Sekolah Dasar Islam Al-Munawwarah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yaitu penelitian dengan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis informasi berdasarkan fakta dan keadaan yang sebenarnya pada saat penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data model Milles and Huberman. Sementara uji keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bilingual yaitu English Class Program yang diterapkan di sekolah sudah cukup baik. Hal ini diketahui dari beberapa temuan, yaitu Pertama, kurikulum yang digunakan merupakan kurikulum internasional yang sudah pupuler di sekolah-sekolah negara lain dan terbukti telah berhasil dalam penerapannya, Kedua, sekolah telah memberikan pelatihan khusus bagi guru pengajar kelas ECP untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengajarnya sehingga guru dapat berinteraksi dengan siswa menggunakan bahasa pengantar bahasa Inggris yang baik, Ketiga, fasilitas atau sarana prasana di kelas ECP sudah memadai dan dapat dikatakan layak. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala, diantaranya pada pelaksanaan kegiatan proses pembelajaran, yaitu kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam hal metode pembelajaran, dalam kesehariannya guru lebih sering mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara siswa sehingga berdampak pada ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa, siswa kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal dengan bentuk tulisan ditambah lagi guru menuntut siswa agar menjawab soal menggunakan grammar yang benar. AbstractionThe purpose of this research was to know the implementation of English Class Program in Al-Munawwarah Islamic elementary school. This research was a descriptive qualitative research that described and analyzed information based on actual facts and circumstances.In collecting the data, this research used observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research used Milles and Huberman data analysis model. However, the validity test of this research data used triangulation technique and source. The research resultsshowed that the bilingual program namely English Class Program applied in schools was good enough. This was known from several findings: First, the curriculum used is an international curriculum that has been studied in other state schools and has proved successfully in its implementation; Secondly, the school has provided special training for ECP class teachers to improve their teaching skills so that teachers can interact with the students using a good English for instruction, Third, the facilities in ECA classroom is adequate andfeasible. However, there were still some obstacles in the implementation of teaching learning process, such as the lack of teacher’s skills in implementing the learning methods. The teachers were more often develop the students' speaking skill so that it gave impact to the students’ learning outcomesachievement, especially in written exercises. They experienced difficulty in doing some written exercises. Moreover, the teacher also demands the students to answer some grammar exercises correctly.
