    Abstraksi

    Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk yang layak dari segi kevalidan, kemenarikan, keefektifan, serta keterterapan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dikembangkan berdasarkan langkah-langkah pengembangan model Borg and Gall yang diadaptasi oleh Sugiyono. Langkah-langkah tersebut meliputi identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk tahap akhir, dan produksi massal. Hasil validasi diperoleh dari tiga ahli. Rata-rata persentase validasi gabungan dari tiga ahli adalah 85,6% termasuk kriteria sangat valid. Hasil persentase keterterapan diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Rata-rata persentase keterterapan gabungan dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa adalah 87,3% termasuk kriteria sangat dapat diterapkan. Persentase keefektifan produk dari hasil belajar siswa adalah 95,6% termasuk kriteria tuntas dan efektif. Persentase kemenarikan produk adalah 86,9% termasuk kriteria sangat menarik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media kota stick matematika sangat valid, sangat dapat diterapkan, tuntas dan efektif, serta sangat menarik.     Abstraction

    The aim of this research is producing a viable product in terms of validation, interest, affectiveness, and application in teaching learning process. This research and development was expanded based on development steps of Borg and Gall model which was adapted by Sugiyono. The steps included by problem identification, information accumulation, product design, design validation, design correction, product trials, information revision, consumption trials, last step product revision, and mass production. The result of the validation was observed by three experts. The validation from the experts was presented in the rate of 85,6% which included in very valid criteria. The result of the application gotten by the teacher activity sheet and students was presented in the rate of 87,3% and it was included in easily applied criteria. The effectiveness of the product gotten by the result of students. Learning process was in the rate of 95,6% and it was included in complete and effective criteria. The interest of the product was in the rate of 86,9% and it was included in very interesting criteria. The result of this research showed that math stick box media was very valid, easily applied, complete and effective, and very interesting.
