Lembar kerja siswa berbasis Learning Cycle 5E merupakan alat bantu atau pendukung guru untuk menyampaikan pembelajaran pada siswa. Komponen LKS ini menyesuaikan dengan standar kompetensi (SK), kompetensi dasar (KD), materi, dan tujuan pembelajaran. Serta LKS berisikan perintah-perintah mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Learning Cycle 5E adalah salah satu model pembelajaran dengan pendekatan yang konstruktivis siswa (student center). 5E merupakan singkatan dari engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, dan evaluation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa yang valid, mudah diterapkan, efektif, dan menarik. Prosedur pengembangan pada pengembangan LKS berbasis Learning Cycle 5E mengikuti prosedur dari 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan 1) define, 2) design, 3) development, dan 4) disseminate. Hasil uji validasi ahli LKS diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 86,7%. Hasil lembar observasi aktivitas guru dengan persentase 85%, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dengan persentase 82%. Keterterapan LKS dilihat dari hasil gabungan dari lembar aktivitas guru dan siswa dengan persentase sebesar 83,5%. Keefektifan LKS diperoleh dari hasil belajar dengan persentase sebesar 80%. Kemenarikan LKS dilihat dari hasil angket respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 91,2%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa LKS sangat valid, baik diterapkan, efektif, dan sangat menarik. AbstractionStudent’s worksheet based learning cycle 5E is a kind of teacher’s auxiliary in delivering lesson of teaching learning process toward students. This student worksheet component adapts to competency standards, basic competencies, material, and learning objectives. As well as student worksheets containing instructions regarding learning activities to be carried out by students. Learning Cycle 5E is one of the learning models with a constructivist approach to students (student center). 5E stands for engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation. The aim of this research is developing a kind of valid, easily applied, effective, and interesting worksheet. The development procedure of expanding worksheet based on learning cycle 5E attended to 4D procedure which was consist of 4 steps: 1) define, 2) design, 3) development, and 4) disseminate. The validation result given by worksheet expert was presented in the rate 86,7%. The results of the teacher activity observation sheet were 85%, and the student observation sheet was 82%. The application of worksheet which was observed form result of combination between teacher’s activity sheet and student’s worksheet was presented in the amount of 83,5%. The effectiveness of worksheet gotten by teaching learning result was presented in the amount of 80%. The interest of worksheet which was observed form the result of student’s response questionnairies was presented in the amount of 91,2%.
