Konstruksi Sosial Atas Mitos Kesehatan Pengguna Rokok Elektrik Di Kota Surabaya (Studi Pada Komunitas Gumbul Vapor). Dosen Pembimbing, Dr,Ekna Satriati,S.S.M.Hum Komunitas Gumbul Vapor Surabaya berasal dan berada di Kota Surabaya merupakan salah satu komunitas yang mewadahi tempat pecinta vapor .Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Media dan Pemahaman setiap individu dalam kelompok. Kedua hal itu, mengkonstruksi masyarakat terutama tentang mitos kesehatan dan keikutsertaan dalam komunitas Gumbul Vapor sehingga masyarakat mempunyai gambaran untuk melakukan pilihan. Vape dan Komunitas memiliki makna kegembiraan dan pengupayaan kesehatan dan kepuasan diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Peter Ludwig Berger dan Thomas Luckman mengenai konstruksi sosial untuk menganalisis konsruksi mitos kesehatan pada pengguna rokok elektrik (vape). Menurut Berger dan Luckman, proses konstruksi terbentuk melalui dialektika eksternalisasi, obyektivasi, dan internalisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Media dan Pemahaman setiap individu dalam kelompok telah mengkonstruksi masyarakat terutama tentang pemilihan vape dan keikutsertaan dalam komunitas Gumbul Vapor sehingga masyarakat mempunyai gambaran untuk melakukan pilihan. Konstruksi sosial Komunitas Gumbul Vapor melalui tiga momentum. Terdapat obyektivikasi terhadap kelompok yang mempercayai adanya kesehatan. Internalisasi berlaku dilingkungn tempat tinggal dan eksternalisasi dengan mempercayai bahwa vape dan komunitas Gumbul Vapor adalah pilihan positif. . Gumbul vapor community is originated and based in surabaya that become a place for vape enthusiasts to gather.The purpose of this study is to know the Medium and Understanding of each individual in the group. These two factors constructed the community, especially about the selection of vape and participation in Gumbul Vapor community hence people may have definition for the right choice. Vape and Community had meaning in the effort to achieve hapiness, health and self-satisfaction. This study uses the theories put forward by Peter Ludwig Berger and Thomas Luckman regarding social construction for analysing myth construction on health of e-ciggerate user (vape). According to Berger and Luckman, the construction process is formed through dialectic externalization, objectivization, and internalization. The method used in this research is qualitative method with phenomenology approach. Informants are selected by using purposive sampling method. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman techniques. Technique examination of data validity using triangulation of source and method. The results of this study showed medium and understanding each individual within group had constructed society especially about vape choice and participation in the Gumbul Vapor community. Therefore, the society had impression to make a choice. There is objectification against group who believe in health benefits of vapor. Internalization is in effect within living environment and externalization with believing that vape and Gumbul Vapor community are the positive choice.
