ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep diri mahasiswa Universitas Trunojoyo Madura sebagai seorang penggemar budaya populer Korea (K-Popers). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah fenomenologi dengan metode pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, dan jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui dokumentasi. Metode keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi sumber. Dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh menggunakan teori Konsep Diri George Herbert Mead. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri mahasiswa Universitas Trunojoyo Madura sendiri adalah menjadikan diri sebagai alat, pelaku sosial, dan masalah sekaligus manfaat di masyarakat. Kemudian dalam proses pembentukan konsep diri mahasiswa Universitas Trunojoyo Madura telah melalui tiga tahap konsep diri menurut Mead, yaitu play stage, game stage, dan generalized other. Dalam sisi psikologis mahasiswa K-Popers di Universitas Trunojoyo Madura mengalami perubahan keyakinan dan pola pikir serta cara bersikap terkait hobi mereka sebagai K-Popers. Kini konsep diri mahasiswa K-Popers di Universitas Trunojoyo Madura lebih mengarah pada hal-hal yang lebih positif. Meskipun sering kali mendapat kritik dari lingkungan, mereka tetap mempertahankan konsep diri yang telah ada namun lebih diarahkan pada hal yang positif di lingkungan mereka. ABSTRACT The aims of study is to determine the self-concept of Trunojoyo Madura University students as a fans of Korean Populer Culture (K-Popers). This study used qualitative research methods and the type of research used is phenomenology with the informan selection method using purposive sampling techniques, and the types of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from semi-structured observations and interviews, while secondary data is obtained through documentations. The validity method of the data used in this study uses the source triangulation method. In this study to analize the data obtained using Geoge Herbert Mead’s self concept theory. The result showed that the self-concept of Trunojoyo Madura University students themselves was to make themselve as tools, social subject, and problems as well as benefit in society. Then in the process of forming the self concept of Trunojoyo Madura University students have gone throuht Three stage of self-concept according to Mead, namely play stage, game stage, generalized other. In the psychological side of K-Popers students at Trunojoto Madura University experienced a chance in their beliefs and mindsets and how to behave related to their hobbies as K-Popers. Now the self concept of K-Popers students at Trunojoyo Madura University is more directed at more positive things. Even though they often get criticism from the Environment, they still maintain the self-concept that already exists but are more directed at positive things in their Environment.
