This study is focused on the slang words used by Doboesr Volleyball Club The aims of this study are to identify the forms of slang based on theory proposed by Eble (1996), to identify the most dominant form of slang words used, and to classify the functions of slang words used based on theory proposed by Widawski (2015). In this study, descriptive qualitative research is used by the writer. The source of data in this study is the conversation among Doboers member located in Sepulu, meanwhile the data in this study is Doboesr member’s utterances that containing slang words and any kinds of information related to the statements of the research problem. The writer applied interview method in data collection. Based on the discussion, the writer found 21 slang words used by Doboesr Volleyball Club. The forms of slang were 5 (five) data belong to compounding, and 16 (sixteen) data belong to borrowing. The writer found one function of slang word used by Doboesr Volleyball Club, and all of the data belong to secrecy.
