Abstract This study is concerned with code switching in Bukan Empat Mata Talk Show, using theories proposed Hoffman (1991) and Holmes (1997). The data were collected from the utterances of speaker in Bukan Empat Mata Talk show The writer found 20 data belonging the types of code switching in Bukan Empat Mata Talk Show. Those are : 1 data of “Pemirsa, kita sambut give applause for Inul Daratista”, 3 data of “Gak semua orang bias, cengkoknya oke. Voice good song good face good and Entertaint is very very amazing”, 8 data of “Sorry anything wrong with my face, my voice, my body, thank you, thank you, thank you!”, 9 data of “Goyang Inul right”. The writer also founds factors of code switching in Bukan Emapat Mata Talk Show. Those are : 2 data of “Good Evening my Brother Franzoa”, 18 data of “Introduction”, 15 data of “What’s wrong”. From the findings above, writer concluded that the type of code-switching mostly occurred in Bukan Empat Mata Talk Show is emblematic switching, combined the language in a small utterance such as word and eclamation. The writer also discovered the factors that cause of code-switching are socially the participants, the topic, social context and the purpose. Keywords: Code Switching, Types, Factors
