The purpose of this study is to find out Jodi’s Struggles to Fight for Her Dignity which portrays about marriage life which occurs to the main character named Jodi in The Silent Wife novel by Harrison. This study also concerns about the existence of woman and as well her struggle in the novel. Therefore, this study uses power feminism theory proposed by Naomi Wolf. In power feminism, men and women are equal creators who have the same chance and have influence each others. Wolf describes that women are able to have decision freely to gain the justice. To analyze the data, this study uses qualitative approach whereas the data are characters’ utterances and author’s narration which focus on Jodi as the main character. The source of the data is the novel by Harrison entitled The Silent Wife which is published in 2013. The study found that the struggles done by Jodi are; (1) She is breaking traditional gender role through education, profession, independence woman, and self quality as a good wife. (2) The existences of woman which portrayed in the novel, such as women support each other, women could change the world, and women will not hate men.
