Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia menyukai minuman kopi sebagai hidangan penyemangat dan hidangan pada saat waktu bersantai. Aktivitas mengkonsumsi kopi bisa menghilangkan fikiran jenuh akibat kesibukan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, kopi sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat khususnya para penikmat kopi. Namun dalam penyajian takaran membuat minuman kopi di warung atau café masih menggunakan cara manual sehingga takaran kopi sering tidak sesuai. Apabila membuat minuman kopi dengan jumlah yang banyak mungkin ada beberapa minuman kopi memiliki rasa yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu dibuat alat pembuat minuman kopi otomatis agar takaran minuman kopi yang dihasilkan memiliki rasa yang sama. Perancangan sistem pada alat pembuat minuman kopi otomatis dibantu menggunakan konveyor, dengan menggunakan sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) yang dipancarkan sinar laser sebagai pendeteksi keberadaan gelas. Motor servo sebagai pembuka bahan penuangan kopi, sistem ini dikontrol oleh Mikrokontroler arduino mega 2560. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian selama 10 kali dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada pengujian alat ini masih ditemukan kegagalan pengujian, karena pada pembacaan sensor LDR tidak dapat mendeteksi gelas sehingga motor servo tidak terbuka. The majority of Indonesians love coffee drinks as an enthusiastic and entertaining meal during leisure time. Activities consume coffee can eliminate the mind saturated due to busy everyday. Therefore, coffee is very beneficial for the community, especially coffee lovers. But in the presentation of the dose to make a coffee drink in a cafe or cafe still using the manual way so that the dose of coffee is often not appropriate. When making a large amount of coffee drinks there may be some coffee drinks have different flavors. Therefore made an automatic coffee beverage maker so that the amount of coffee drinks produced has the same taste. The design of the system in the automatic coffee maker is assisted using a conveyor, using the LDR sensor (Light Dependent Resistors) emitted by the laser beam as a detection of the existence of glass. Servo motor as an opener of pouring coffee, this system is controlled by aruruino mega 2560 Microcontroller. Based on test result for 10 times it can be concluded that in testing of this tool still found failure of test, because at reading of LDR sensor can not detect glass so that servo motor is not open.
