Perkembangan teknologi elektronika memicu berkembangnya dunia elektronika, yang pada mulanya menggunakan cara konvensional berubah menggunakan cara modern dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi. Bukan hanya di sektor industri, sektor diluar industi pun tidak luput dari penggunaan kemajuan teknologi, salah satunya adalah benda alat pendeteksi smash, peralatan ini sangat praktis dan efisien. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam tugas akhir ini adalah pembuatan perangkat keras yaitu Alat Pendeteksi Kekuatan Smash Pada Cabang Olahraga Tenis Meja menggunakan Load Cell berbasis mikrokontroller AT2560 dan LCD. Alat ini akan membaca kekuatan bola smash dari beban bola yang menyentuh meja yang sudah terpasang sensor load cell, dan mikrokontroler akan menghitung beban bola smash yang sudah dikirim oleh sensor berat, LCD sebagai langkah terakhir dalam semua proses yang berfungsi sebagai penampil dari hasil pembacaan atau perhitungan yang telah dilakukan.

The development of electronic technology triggered the development of the world of electronics, which initially used conventional methods of changing using modern methods by utilizing technological progress. Not only in the industrial sector, even non-industrial sectors are spared from the use of technological advancements, one of which is a smash detector, this equipment is very practical and efficient. The objective to be achieved in this final project is the creation of hardware namely Smash Strength Detectors at the Table Tennis Sports Branch using AT2560 microcontroller and LCD Load Cells. This tool will read the strength of the smash ball from the load of the ball that touches the table that has a load cell sensor installed, and the microcontroller will calculate the load of the smash ball that has been sent by the heavy sensor, the LCD as the last step in all processes that function as a viewer from the reading or calculation which has been done.
