    Abstraksi

    PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam produksi papan gipsum yang memiliki anak cabang yang bergerak di daerah Gresik. Perusahaan telah melakukan pengendalian kualitas terhadap produk papan gypsum namun masih memiliki presentase cacat yang tidak sesuai target perusahaan seperti produk SC 9 mm memiliki presentase cacat sebesar 3,1% sedangkan presentase yang dikehendaki adalah 1%. Pengendalian kualitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode six sigma dengan tahapan DMAIC. Proses pembuatan produk SC 9 mmm memiliki nilai level sigma sebesar 4,105 yang artinya rata-rata Amerika. Pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan diketahui cacat paling berpengaruh adalah cacat Blister. Faktor penyebab cacat blister adalah sambungan pada belt 2, sinkronisasi forming belt, conveyor roll, water spray, smoothing bar, motor foam system, lignment, penyambungan paper, kualitas paper, lem, slurry fluct dan fast setting. Penyebab tersebut didapatkan penyebab prioritas dengan metode FMEA yaitu kesalahan conveyor roll, joint belt 2, lignment paper, motor foam system dan slurry fluct.

    Abstraction

    PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the production of gypsum board that has subsidiaries moving in the Gresik area. The company has conducted quality control on gypsum board products but still has a percentage of defects that do not fit the target company such as SC 9 mm product has a defect percentage of 3.1% while the desired percentage is 1%. Quality control in this research using six sigma method with DMAIC stage. The manufacturing process of SC 9 mmm has a sigma level of 4,105, which means the American averagse. The quality control performed is known to be the most influential defect is Blister defect. Factors that cause blister defects are joints on belt 2, synchronization of forming belt, conveyor roll, water spray, smoothing bar, motor foam system, lignment, paper connection, paper quality, glue, slurry fluct and fast setting. The cause is the cause of priority with FMEA method that is the error of conveyor roll, joint belt 2, lignment paper, motor foam system and slurry fluct.
