    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak air daun krokot (Portulaca oleracea L.) terhadap viabilitas dan pertumbuhan awal tanaman jagung varietas Madura 3. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Trunojoyo Madura pada bulan Mei-Juni 2019, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 kali ulangan dan 8 perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak air daun krokot yaitu konsentrasi 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% dan 35%. Parameter yang diamati meliputi persentase perkecambahan, laju perkecambahan, panjang tanaman dan panjang akar. Perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak air daun krokot berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan, kecuali laju perkecambahan. Ekstrak air daun krokot dengan konsentrasi ? 15% mampu menghambat viabilitas dan pertumbuhan awal tanaman jagung varietas Madura 3. Kata kunci: Jagung varietas Madura 3, Ekstrak air daun krokot

    Abstraction

    The aim of this research is to get know determine the effect of purslane leaves water extract (Portulaca oleracea L.) on viability and early growth of Madura 3 varieties of maize. The research was conducted at the Integrated Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Trunojoyo Madura University in May-June 2019, used a Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications and 8 treatment concentrations of purslane leaf water extract concentrations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35%. The parameters observed included germination percentage, germination rate, plant height and root length. . The treatment of purslane leaf extract concentration significantly affected all observation parameters, except germination rate. Purslane leaf water extract with a concentration of ? 15% was able to inhibit viability and initial growth of Madura 3 varieties of maize.
