ABSTRAK Nivia Pujowati, pengaruh kepemimpinan demokratis dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Perindusrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Bangkalan. Di bawah bimbingan Dr.H.RM.Moch. Wispandono, SE., MS dan Faidal SE., MM. Kepemimpinan demokratis dan komunikasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan pimpinan sering mengalami permasalahan dalam pengambilan keputusan antara atasan dan bawahan, serta ketidak pahaman saat berkomunikasi di dalam lingkup kerja dinas sehingga berdampak kurang baik bagi dinas terutama pada kinerja pegawainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh parsial maupun simultan variabel bebas kepemimpinan demokratis dan komunikasi terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kinerja pegawai Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Bangkalan, serta untuk mengetahui manakah diantara kedua variabel tersebut yang berpengaruh secara dominan terhadap variabel terikatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi sebesar 68 pegawai. Teknik pengambilan sampel seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian, maka penelitian ini disebut dengan penelitian populasi. Data diperoleh dari proses wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan program SPSS untuk menjawab hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier berganda diperoleh hasil bahwa secara parsial variabel kepemimpinan demokratis dan komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai variabel kepemimpinan demokratis sebesar 0,321, variabel komunikasi sebesar 0,660 dan secara simultan variabel kepemimpinan demokratis dan komunikasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai adjusted R square sebesar 0,788 dan Fhitung sebesar 125.250. Wispandono, SE., MS and Faidal SE., MM. The democratic leadership and communication are the factors that can effect employee performance. In the work, a leader frequently faces any problem in making decision which is from superiors and subordinates, and also incomprehension in communication within the employees that are being the bad impact for the office, particularly the performance of employee. The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of democratic leadership and communication as the independent variables on Industry and Mampower Office of Bangkalan Regency employee performance as the dependent variable either partially or simultanously, and also to discover the independent variables which prefer to have significant effect on the dependent variable. This study uses quantitative method. Population of this study consists of 68 employees and the sample is taken from the entire population study. The method of data collection is interview process, observation, and questionnaires distribution and data analysis method of this study is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS program in order to answer the hypothesis. Based on the multiple linear regression analysis, the independent variables have have partially significant effect on dependent variable whose 0.321 of the democratic leadership variable and 0.660 of the communication variable. Moreover, the independent variables have simultaneously significant effect on dependent variable whose 0.788 of R square and 125.250 of Fcount as an adjusted result.
