Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran Camtasia berbasis video. Jenis pengembangan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) tanpa Disseminate. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Kamal. Sampel penelitian adalah sepuluh siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kelayakan media sebesar 88,3% dengan kriteria layak digunakan tanpa revisi, kelayakan materi 95,6% dengan kriteria layak digunakan tanpa revisi dan respon siswa sebesar 88% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran Camtasia berbasis video layak dan sangat menarik digunakansebagai media pembelajaran.
AbstractionThe aims of the research was to known validity, and student responses. The develop model used 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) without Disseminate. Learning media Camtasia based on video validity, and student responses was already tested. The population in this research was SMPN 3 Kamal’s students. The sample of research was 10 students of SMPN 3 Kamal with simple random sampling technique. The average result of validity test in the media aspect was 88,3% with proper used without revision criteria, material aspect was 95,6% with proper used without revision criteria and learning media’s student responses was 88,5% with absolutely attractive criteria. The conclusion of the research was learning media Camtasia based on video was valid to used and absolutely attractive in learning activity.
